INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups (480 ml) of freshly brewed strong coffee
- 1/4 cup (50 g) of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of powdered gelatin
- 2 tablespoons of cold water
- Sweetened condensed milk or fresh cream for serving
HOW TO MAKE:
1. Brew Coffee:
- Brew 2 cups of strong coffee. You can use any method you prefer (drip, French press, etc.). Make sure the coffee is hot.
2. Dissolve Gelatin:
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the powdered gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for a few minutes to bloom.
3. Mix Gelatin and Coffee:
- Add the granulated sugar to the hot coffee and stir until it is completely dissolved.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot coffee and stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
4. Chill:
- Pour the coffee mixture into a shallow dish or mold.
- Let it cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is set.
5. Serve:
- Once set, cut the coffee jelly into cubes.
- Place the coffee jelly cubes into serving glasses or bowls.
- Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk or fresh cream to taste.
