Ingredients

1/4 pound Salt-free butter
1 piece Lemon zest and juice
1 teaspoon Chopped fresh thyme leaves
10 to 12 pounds Fresh turkey
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 large bunch Fresh thyme
1 whole halved Lemon
1 divided quartered Spanish onion
1 head halved crosswise Garlic

Simply seasoned with pepper and salt, the Roasted Turkey recipe when served with turkey sauce,
the authentic Turkey flavors bursts in your mouth. Stuff Turkey with your preferred dressing and
enjoy with family and friends.

Step 1

Start the recipe by putting the oven to preheat at 350 degrees F.

In a small saucepan melt the butter and add to it the lime zest and juice, thyme leaves. Mix well and set aside.

Take the dirt out of Turkey and clean it thoroughly from inside out. Discard any excess fat and pat dry it thoroughly from outside.

Now place Turkey in a roast pan and season the inside cavity nicely with salt and pepper. Stuff Turkey from inside with thyme bunch, onion quarters, lemon zest and garlic.

Take the butter mix and brush the outside with it. Sprinkle pepper and salt. Dress Turkey by tying the legs and tucking the wings together with rope before putting to roast.

Roast the dressed turkey for about 2 1/2 hours or till the juice from the Turkey starts running clear on cutting the thigh and leg.

Shift Turkey to a cutting board and cover with aluminum foil and set to rest for 20 minutes.
