Ingredients

250 gm Chicken mince
1 Egg white
2 Tbsp fine chopped Spring onion
2 Tbsp chopped Carrots
2 Tbsp chopped Mushrooms
1/2 tsp Chilli garlic paste
1 Tbsp Soya sauce
1/2 Chicken stock cube crumbled
Black pepper and salt, to taste
1 Tbsp Sesame oil
Ginger fine chopped
1 tsp Castor sugar
2 Tbsp Ginger juice
1 big removed and blanched in hot water Chinese cabbage leaves
SERVE WITH
Soy and vinegar with ginger slivers and green chillies
Sriracha sauce

The dull floor wrappers have been replaced by the blanched cabbage leaves that give the same feeling of dim sums without piling on the calories. Stuffed with yummy chicken filling these cabbage recipe is a real treat in true sense.

Step 1

Mix the minced chicken with all the other ingredients excluding the cabbage leaves. Marinate the mix for minimum of 4 hours to overnight max.

Step 2

Take a cabbage leave and put a tbsp of chicken mince in the centre and tie it up with spring onion stem chopping off the extra stem.

Step 3

Steam the dim sums for about 20 minutes in a steamer. Serve the dumplings in the traditional bamboo basket with your choice of dip.
